Krystonia: About Krystonias

"The World Of Krystonia ©" was created by David Woodard and Pat Chandok. The first 19 cold-cast porcelain figurines were produced in 1987 in a small factory in England Stoke-On-Trent.

Today the collection boasts well over 200 pieces - including some waterballs, plaques, lithographs, and 4 books. The figurines are actually based on characters from the Krystonia Chronicles book series. This helps give the figurines added depth, charm and personality.

The Krystonia Collector Club first started in 1990 and continues today. Included with membership is a free Membership piece. This year it is "Which Way" and "This Way" shown here as they fit together. The little dragon is the free piece, "Which Way".

I've been a collector since 1987 when I purchased Poffles. The one I really wanted then was Graffyn On Grunch, which I just received from an auction on Ebay. I also recently got my hands on a "sample prototype" of a Blue Seer. That is a really nice piece. I think I own about 80 in total. Unfortunately they are all still in their boxes due to me moving a lot up here at college in Rochester, NY. But once I get a permanent place they will all be displayed :)
